Welcome  to  Wat Chai
NO  " I "  IN  THE  WORLD

  Worthless

Diamonds and jewels are worthless to rooters,
Who require rice paddies.

Golden cages are  worthless to birds,
Who require freedom.

Gems are worthless to monkeys,
Who require wild fruits.

Virginity is worthless to a prostitute,
Who requires money.

Wealth is worthless to persons
Who have insatiable greed.
Time is worthless to those
Who procrastinate.

Lessons of Life are worthless to those
Who derive happiness only from the flesh.

Golden urns are worthless to those
Who have np consciousness from physical death.
The Noble Truths are worthless to those
Who are heedless, lack responsibility
And suffer Spiritual death.

  Doing   Simultaneously

When a musician follows the music,
He helps himself
And also helps the rest of the hand.

When a housewife pays attention to her home,
She helps herself
And also helps the members of her family.

When you are punctual for a meeting.
You help yourself
But you also help the other members as well.

When you obey the traffic laws,
You help yourself
And also help the other drivers and pedestrains.

When everyone keeps a tidy home,
They help themselves
But they also help the rest of the neighborhood.

When a girl behaves cautiously,
She helps herself
And also helps her parents.

When citizens are self-sufficient,
They help themselves
And help their country as well.
When you protect and care for yourself,
You help yourself
And help to protect and care for others also.

When you maintain your mind in its original state,
It is equivalent to helping
The entire world.

   Why  is  it  That?.

Taking food at home is more comfortable
Than at luxurious restaurants.

Speaking alone at home with family or friends
Is more comfortable
Than speaking to the public.

Sweeping a floor by yourself is more comfortable
Than asking others to sweep.

Thinking by yourself is more comfortable
Than forcing others to have the same thoughts.

Controlling yourself is easier
Than controlling hundreds of others.

But it is most peculiar when people say that
Preventing suffering from arising in the mind
Is more difficult
Than solving social problems.

   Unforbidden
@

When can forbid  the continuation
Of day and night?

When the body needs excretion,
Who can forbid it?

No one can forbid another,s thoughts.

No one can forbid the love
Of a mother for her child.

When one commists an unwholesome act,
No a mother for her child.

No one can forbid the condition of deva
From one who has complete moral shame.

When one creates the right cause,
Who can forbid the right effect?

No one can fornid  mother
from the Spiritual practice for No-Suffering.
No one can forbid Nirvana (Nibbana)
From one who experiences
The absence  of  egoism.

  Right   and   Liberty

@

Stones have the right to injure
The bare food of anyone who steps on them.

Rose thorns have the right to pierce
The hand of one unaware
Who plucks a rose.

Flies have the right to land
On uncovered food.

Snakes, when they are startled,
Have the right to bite
One who approaches.

Thieves have the right to steal
The property of the careless rich.

The foolish have the right to offend
Otherss with their ignorance.

The wise have the right to forgive
And eliminate unwholesomeness at anytime.
Teachers have the right to instruct,
Reprove and discipline their students.

Those who dedicate their lives for others,
Have the right to be taken care of by others.

A perfected self-enlightened Buddha
Has the right over all things
In this universe and beyond.
